Cash Collins and Matt Sparks picked up player of the week awards in week 4 for their stellar performances in the first two shut-outs of the season for the Chaos. Collins picked up the first shutout of the season against Spartanburg on 7/26. He gave up only 3 hits, had one BB, and 9 K's in the 13-0 win. Sparks picked up the second shutout of the season the next day against Lake Norman. In seven-innings, he gave up 3 hits, 1 BB, and struck out 7 Lake Norman hitters to pick up the win against the first-place team in the league.

The Carolina Chaos Outfield continues to dominate the entire SCBL. Chaos outfielders have a combined batting average of almost .400 on the season, with each outfielder batting over .350 individually. Combined, they've accounted for 36 runs (34% of all the runs scored by the team the entire season) 67 hits (49% of all hits by the Chaos this season). The SCBL Southern division All-Star Team will also be made up of all Carolina Chaos outfielders.
